The History of Bodh Gaya

And I told you one thing is also that the Maha Bodhi Temple was dedicated to Lord Buddha. Was made in the name of Lord Buddha and came to be known by the name of Maha Bodhi Temple. The Statue of Buddha was established in the same way as he was gaining Knowledge by sitting under the Bodhi Tree. Due to this place was established. It is considered to be a holy place and this temple was built by the great emperor Ashoka of ancient times. People of Buddhism come in large numbers.
