 The History of Bihar                                               

Today I am going to tell you about a place. when once time you will want to go to it again and again? Yes, you people heard it right, you will want to go again and again.

The name of that place is Bihar. sir, I am talking about Bihar state, Whose capital is Patna. The history of  Bihar state is very old.  The population of the state of Bihar is the largest, So this state comes in the third largest place in India in terms of population.  Whereas it is 12th place from the point of view of the area. In ancient times the old name of Bihar was Magadha.  In ancient times people knew. Bihar is Magadha and Since ancient times Magadha was a great centre of power, education and culture.  In ancient times,  the largest religion was established in the Magadha region.  Whose religion is called Buddhism? 



Yes, Buddhism was established in the Magadha region. The first ruler of Magadha was Vimbisara. Who ruled Magadha for many years.  Then later the name of this state was changed from Magadha to Bihar. There was a big reason behind naming this state Bihar because Bihar words mean monastery and temple. So, the name Bihar has been liked very much.  The name of the last ruler of Magadha was Chandragupta 2.  Who also ruled Magadha for a long time.  This place is considered very auspicious because this place is the birth of lord buddha. Lord Buddha was born in Bodh-Gaya in Bihar.  So this place was named Bodh Gaya and this place became famous as Bodh-GayaNot only this apart from this many similar people have been born here, One of them is Lord Mahavir the founder of our Jain religion,  Whose birthplace is also Bihar.  Yes lord Mahavir was born in the town situated as Pavapuri in the direction of the capital Patna.  In the same way, they were also 
manufactured in Bihar itself.  Similarly, now Bihar has become a complete state.  At present time there are 38 districts,44,874 villages, 538 blocks, 12 Nagar-Nigam,49 Nagar Parishad,(city council)  80 Nagar panchayat ((Notified Area Council (NAC)) available in Bihar.  Similarly, Bihar is a famous place to visit here it includes Begusarai, Muzaffarpur, Valmiki tiger reserve, Madhubani, Bhagalpur, Munger, Vaishali and Patna.  And yes I forget to tell all people about another famous place in Bihar.
                           

The name of that place is Bodh-Gaya. Yes, you have heard it right.  I am talking about Bodh-Gaya city. 
You will find many numbers of temples and monasteries. Examples of temples and monasteries 
are Bodh-Gaya. Examples are Bodhi - Temple, Vishnu Pad Temple, Magla Gauri Shrine, Bodhi Tree Temple, Chinese Temple, Bodhgaya- Museum, Much Linda Lake, Thai - Temple and a lots number of Monastery places you can visit and enjoy.  If you people are thinking of travelling somewhere, then I would say that you should visit Bihar. Since ancient times. Bihar is a very big tourist destination, here every year a number of lakhs of tourists come to visit or enjoy this place. And you must also visit.
